Explore Bohol by Land & Sea

Get ready for an action-packed adventure in Bohol with dolphin-watching, zip lining, river cruising, sightseeing and more.

About Your Trip

Head out on the Bohol Sea for an island-hopping adventure to look for dolphins playing and feeding in the cool morning water. Dive a little deeper during a snorkeling escapade in the sapphire waters and go swimming at Virgin Island. Get treated to a freshly cooked lunch on the beach before returning to the hotel.

The next day, take a wide-ranging tour of Bohol’s most outstanding landmarks and experiences. Visit the ancient Baclayon Church and the site of the "blood compact," where a Bohol chief and a Spanish explorer affirmed a peace accord in the mid-1500s. At Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park, zip line above the Loboc River and then hop on a boat for a river cruise with a buffet lunch. Then, get to know the local wildlife with a hands-on visit with tarsiers, an endangered miniature primate, and a stroll through a butterfly garden. Explore the must-see Chocolate Hills, and finish your day at the Bohol Hanging Bridge.

What we love:
• The Sikatuna-Legazpi blood compact, known locally as “Sandugo,” is believed to be the 1st treaty between 2 different races, religions and cultures.
• The man-made forest near Bilar is mostly composed of mahogany trees planted as part of a reforestation project.
• The Chocolate Hills area comprises more than 1,000 hills and is named after the grass that turns brown in the dry season.

Destination

Hop a plane to Bohol, a jungle-clad island in the Philippines framed by white beaches and shimmering Pacific waters. It’s famous for the native population of rare tarsiers, some of the world’s tiniest tree-hugging primates. This tropical paradise is also known for the Chocolate Hills, a collection of over 1,200 limestone hills aptly named for natural grasses which turn brown in the dry season. See Bohol’s baroque churches, constructed by missionaries in the 16th century. Foods here are heavily influenced by Spanish and Chinese cuisines, but local chefs use regional spices and vegetables to make their dishes distinct. Fresh seafood is often the star of any meal in Bohol, thanks to its natural island location.
